Contract: 190 days
Compensation: $50,000+ per year for licensed teacher, salary commensurate with experience and the AXIS full-time salary equivalent. Position includes retirement benefits through Colorado Public Employee Retirement Association (copera.org) as well as option for health benefits.
Location: AXIS is currently located at 2700 S. Lemay Ave. Fort Collins, CO 80525, and beginning August 2026 we will be located at 3939 Automation Way, Fort Collins, CO in our newly built facility.

Position Description:
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, experienced Elementary English Language Arts Teacher to join our innovative dual language immersion model. In this role, you will teach literacy, language arts, science, and social studies in English to two cohorts of students. This position will be teaching upper grades (2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade). This position also offers an optional opportunity to earn an additional stipend for being a teacher mentor. We use the Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) program, so the curricula is ready for your implementation. You will collaborate closely with a math teacher and partner language teachers (Spanish, French, or Chinese), each responsible for teaching complementary subjects to the same students during alternating times of day. Teachers have dedicated daily planning and collaboration time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- English native proficiency
- Previous teaching experience (3+ years of successful teaching experience with excellent student achievement results )
- Colorado teaching license, not required but encouraged

- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families
- Participate in school duties (arrival, dismissal, etc.) and events
