Description

 About Us:
Here at Great Lakes Honda, we are a high-volume Honda dealership generating over 2,000 repair orders (R.O.’s) per month, creating a unique and consistent opportunity to acquire vehicles directly from our customer base. Our goal is to purchase 2–4% of all service customers’ vehicles, and we are looking for a motivated, results-driven professional to help us achieve and exceed that target.

Position Overview:
As a Vehicle Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring vehicles from both service drive customers and off-street opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is driven by performance and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage service drive customers to identify vehicle purchase opportunities
- Appraise and evaluate customer vehicles for acquisition
- Present purchase offers and negotiate deals professionally and effectively
- Source off-street purchase opportunities through outbound prospecting
- Work closely with service advisors and sales teams to maximize acquisition opportunities
- Track and manage leads, follow-ups, and completed purchases
- Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional experience

Performance Expectations:
- Acquire 2–4% of monthly service drive customers (~40–80 vehicles/month based on volume)
- Consistently generate additional off-street purchases
 

Requirements

 Qualifications:
- Previous automotive sales, BDC, or acquisition experience preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership environment
- Valid driver’s license
