Seasonal Nursery Position

Description

 We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Associate to join our nursery team, specializing in trees and shrubs. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting the right plants for their landscapes and provide guidance on care, maintenance, and seasonal planting. You will be responsible for maintaining healthy, attractive plant displays and managing inventory. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with a diverse range of customers and help them create beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate has a passion for horticulture; experience is not required, as we offer on-the-job training. Applicants must be able to lift and move plant materials and demonstrate a team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn about new plant varieties. Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years of age

  Must be able to work until 7pm

· Must be reliable

· Have a valid drivers license to operate golf carts and forklifts

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be able to work a minimum of 30+ hours per week

· Must be available for at least one weekend shift ability to work both weekend days preferred during peak season

· Ability to stand for extended periods

· Ability to push, pull, bend, stretch, and lift at least 40 pounds

· Comfortable working in all weather conditions (indoor and outdoor work environment)

· Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
