- The Volunteer Coordinator will supervise and evaluate volunteer participants.
- The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, screen, select and train volunteers.
- The Volunteer Coordinator will assess the patient or caregiver’s volunteer needs. Volunteer Coordinator will assign volunteers to meet patient needs and promote volunteer interest and skills.
- Prepare client clinical and progress notes, incorporating notes into the electronic clinical record.
- Participate in the development of client’s plan of care and assure compliance for volunteer services.
- The Volunteer Coordinator will support the agency’s plan of care for services each patient receives through effective coordination with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and attendance at IDT meetings.
- Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate program events such as Volunteer Training, Volunteer Appreciation Programs, Volunteer Fair and Volunteer Continuing Education programs.

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Healthcare industry knowledge
- Experience working with volunteers, or as one
- Awareness of community programs
