About the Role

Description

Are you a spreadsheet whisperer with nerves of steel and a heart of gold? Can you spot a budget issue from 30 feet and still remember that Joe in Room 204 likes his eggs runny? If so, we might have the perfect gig for you.

We’re on the hunt for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who’s not just here to “run a facility,” but ready to lead a community — with empathy, vision, and a surprisingly high tolerance for ringing phones.

This role is for the brave, the strategic, and the caffeine powered. Someone who can balance compliance with compassion, metrics with moments, and sometimes, a resident’s karaoke night with a last-minute state visit. We don’t micromanage — we trust you to build something meaningful, and we’ll back you up every step of the way.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Be the go-to decision maker, idea generator, complaint diffuser, high-fiver-in-chief, and general life force behind the operation.
  • Juggle everything from regulatory compliance and census goals to staff drama and thermostat debates.
  • Create an environment where residents feel like family, employees feel like a team, and surveyors feel... impressed.
  • Steer the financial ship — budgets, margins, AR, and all those fancy acronyms we pretend to like.
  • Oversee department heads without hovering like a drone. You're a coach, not a hall monitor.
  • Build trust with families, confidence with staff, and partnerships in the community (extra credit if you can charm local donut shops into donating pastries).
  • Stay calm during emergencies, whether it’s a real one or just Brenda from dietary losing her mind over supply orders.

A Day in Your Life Might Include:

  • Reviewing staffing reports while planning your facility’s next community BBQ
  • Coaching a department head through a tough situation, followed by cheering them on during a win
  • Balancing your monthly budget (and your blood pressure)
  • Answering a resident’s question about bingo… in the middle of a conference call
  • Checking on a new admission, congratulating a CNA on great work, and remembering where the backup printer ink is kept (you’re a legend)

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Snacks):

  • Valid, state specific, Nursing Home Administrator License
  • At least 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, ideally in long-term care (if you’ve survived a survey without crying, you’re already ahead)
  • Serious knowledge of compliance, budgeting, staffing, and general human psychology
  • The ability to lead with integrity, laugh when it’s hard, and still show up when it’s harder
  • Excellent communication skills — you’ll use them with residents, staff, regulators, and that one vendor who never emails back

Perks of the Role:

  • Full autonomy — we hired you for your brain, not your ability to take orders
  • Competitive salary and benefits (we pay well because we know what this role really takes)
  • A leadership team that’s present, but not in your way
  • Support, appreciation, and the occasional meme in your inbox
  • A workplace that values quality care, resident dignity, and laughing when the copy machine jams for the 17th time

If You’re Still Reading...

...you’re probably exactly who we’re looking for. You’re not here for a title — you’re here to make a difference. You want to lead, inspire, troubleshoot, plan ahead, and still have a heart at the end of the day.

Apply today. Your next adventure in leadership (and occasional karaoke judging) awaits.

The Fine Print (Still Important!):

Offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. We want to keep our residents safe, happy, and in good hands—you’re part of that promise.

Helia Healthcare, LLC is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We’re committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better we can serve our community.
