This role ensures the seamless flow of goods across our supply chain, enabling our company to deliver reliably, operate efficiently, and meet customer expectations at every step.
You are responsible for
Coordinate and optimize daily transportation and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Manage relationships with carriers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth logistics flow.
Monitor shipment tracking, resolve delays or issues, and ensure high service reliability.
Oversee inventory movements between warehouses and distribution points, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify improvements and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role operates at the center of our logistics and transportation activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient operations. As an independent contributor supported by a small extended team, the culture is hands-on, agile, and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations, with understanding of supply chain processes.
Strong technical skills in logistics systems (e.g., ERP/WMS/TMS) and proficiency in Excel/data analysis.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with a high level of ownership.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
Experience working in cross-functional or international environments.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance, or continuous improvement methodologies.
How we work together
This is primarily an on-site role, with regular presence required at operational locations and partner sites in Son en Breugel and Oostrum. Limited remote work is possible in line with company policies, depending on business needs.
4 Saturdays per year (around 3 hours each in the external warehouse)
