Interns will participate in various tribal government and casino resort projects, including youth mentoring, event planning, and community volunteering. They are expected to attend all mandatory training sessions and scheduled program events throughout the summer.

Position Details:

Essential Qualifications

Must be an enrolled citizen of the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi.
You must be 15-24 years of age for most positions within the Tribal Government (some positions may require applicants to be 18 or older) and 18-24 years of age for the Gun Lake Casino Resort.
Ability to commit to part-time schedule (10-20 hours per week) or a full-time schedule (20-30 hours per week)
Gun Lake Casino Resort Interns must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming Support Employee License from the Gun Lake Gaming Commission
Availability for the full 9-week internship program from June 10 through August 11, 2026. Attendance at all mandatory events is required unless an exception is granted by the Education Department.
