Position Summary:


As a Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing automatic pool cover systems. This role requires technical ability, reliability, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, solving problems on-site, while representing CoverSafe with professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, service plans, and general repairs on automatic pool cover systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and alignment issues
  • Install new pool cover systems (underguide, recessed top guide, deck mount) and complete replacement fabric installations
  • Accurately document work in our software, including parts used, notes, photos, and time logs
  • Maintain professionalism with customers and ensure quality work that upholds our Customer Experience Policy: “ALL CUSTOMERS MUST BE HAPPY.”
  • Work collaboratively with your Service Center Leader and team, including participation in Saturday and holiday on-call rotations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as a technician or technician’s assistant, with proven ability to perform at a higher level
  • Hands-on mechanical ability and comfort using tools
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed during peak season, including participation in a Saturday/holiday on-call rotation
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow with the team
  • Comfortable using or learning to use smartphones/tablets for job reporting
