About the Role

Las Vegas College is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Office Manager to support campus operations. This position works closely with the Campus Director and Corporate Accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely management of the campus’s financial and accounting records.


Position Summary

The Business Office Manager assists in maintaining the financial integrity of the campus. Under the direction of the Campus Director, this role manages revenue recognition, accounts receivable, expenses, and accounts payable, while coordinating with corporate accounting and finance to prepare and issue month-end reports. The Business Office Manager is also responsible for managing cash, disbursing payments, supporting student account management, and assisting the Campus Director with onboarding new employees.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely management of campus financial and accounting records       
  • Manage revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expenses       
  • Coordinate with corporate accounting and finance to produce month-end reports  
  • Oversee cash management and disbursement of payments  
  • Interact with students regarding account inquiries and payment arrangements  
  • Assist with onboarding of new campus employees  
  • Support compliance with institutional policies and financial procedures
  • Hours      Vary Monday-Friday

Requirements

  

  • Associate degree or higher (preferred), with emphasis in Accounting  
  • Two or more years of related experience in accounts receivable and accounts      payable  
  • Strong math proficiency  
  • Computer literacy, including financial/accounting systems and standard office      software  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
