If so, keep reading. We’re a busy, respected Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinic in beautiful Bend, Oregon—where the mountains are high, the coffee is strong, and the work you do truly impacts lives. We’re looking for a Sonographer who brings both technical excellence and a little personality to the probe.


About the Role:

We have a full-time opportunity in addition to per-diem options (M-F) working on-site at our clinic in Bend, OR.  Each full-time position has an expectation of 32-40hrs per week with per diem ranging hours (daytime only) based on availability.  Our recruiting pay range for an MFM Sonographer in Bend, OR is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.


What will you do:

  • Perform all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician/provider. Acquires and analyzes data obtained using ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies. 
  • Use independent judgment and systematic problem-solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and optimize patient care. 
  • Generates reports on organization’s RIS system, works with the attending physician/provider to visualize sonographic examination on the OB view workstations.
  • Provides summary findings to the physician/provider to aid in patient diagnosis and management. Prepares accurate and comprehensive preliminary reports and contacts referring physicians/providers when required, according to established procedures. 

Requirements

What do you need to bring to the role:

  • Experience: OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred.
  • Education: Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
  • Professional license or certification: Active license from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology required, additional specialty certifications related to OB/GYN preferred.
