We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Department. We are looking for a solid professional and a great team player who is willing to grow and invest themselves into learning the business and be the best. Responsibilities:

• Ability to complete a month-end and year-end closing.

• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics, and variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

• Maintain the chart of accounts, an orderly accounting filing system and a system of controls over accounting transactions.

• Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries.

• Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations.

• Assist with processing vendor invoices for payment.

• Responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and multi-entry accounting.

• High volume of bank reconciliations as needed. We do have someone to assist as well .

• Assists our Accounting Manager and a CFO with the preparation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Code expenses to the proper general ledger accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3-5+ years of experience as an Accountant

• Knowledge of GAAP standards is a must

• Experience working with multiple entities/companies and states is required

• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition is a plus

• Working with COD businesses is a huge plus

• QuickBooks Online experience is a preferrable

• Must be an excellent problem solver, with strong attention to detail and administrative skills as well at the ability to meet deadlines

• Strives to continually identify areas for improvement in the business
