About the Role

Description

Primary job functions are to weigh dry and/or liquid components and mix them into a vessel to produce organosols and predispersions to meet scheduled requirements in accordance with Safety and Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and in a orderly condition.
  • Compound as instructed by specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Review process orders and process specifications to determine materials required, quantity and mixer set-up.
  • Pull raw materials as requested by process order or specification requirements.
  • Clean and set-up equipment (filters, pump, and mixers) as needed.
  • Handling Hazardous Waste and following OSHA requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (required) 
  • Must be able to wear a respirator at times (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus and identify color (required) 
  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • Experience with hazardous material is preferred
