Join the Magnum Team as a Production/Mixing Operator! 

We’re looking for enthusiastic Ice Cream Makers to join our established Production and Mixing teams at our Minto Factory. You’ll help create the delicious treats people love, while working in a dynamic, supportive environment. If you're passionate about quality, safety, and, of course, ice cream, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Why You’ll Love It

• Great Pay: Starting rate of $1,088.96 per week (before tax) during the low season, with increases after training and in the summertime. The more you learn, the more you earn!

• Exciting Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am), Monday to Saturday. You’ll work a mix of days and nights equally across a 3-week roster and only one Saturday every three weeks!

What You’ll Do

• Operate our production machinery OR mix ingredients to create our famous ice creams

• Perform quality checks to keep standards high

• Maintain and clean equipment

• Follow safety protocols and keep accurate records

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in machine operation or food manufacturing is great, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards.

• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely perform manual handling of up to 20kg

• Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including zero tolerance to drugs or alcohol
