The Courier supports the daily operations of the University’s print, mail, and courier services by providing high‑quality customer service, processing and distributing mail, and coordinating package delivery and tracking. This role involves handling postal transactions, operating mailing and postage equipment, delivering mail and packages across campus, maintaining delivery vehicles, and supporting print shop and bindery operations. The Courier ensures accurate record keeping, efficient routing and distribution, and maintains clean, safe work areas while collaborating with internal departments, external vendors, and postal service partners. The position also communicates operational issues or procedural changes to the Director of Print and Mail to support continuous improvement.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Experience working as a courier and/or in a post office or print shop preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current and Valid PA Driver’s License
Work Related Knowledge:
- Knowledge of federal postal procedures preferred.
