This role supports the management of investment activities for the General Account and Investment-Linked Product (ILP) public market investments. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development and execution of investment strategies, evaluating fund and manager performance, conducting portfolio risk analysis, and supporting regular reporting. The role also supports ongoing manager due diligence and annual fee reviews, ensuring all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal investment guidelines, and industry standards.

Job Descriptions:

  • Perform regular fund reviews and assess the performance of investment funds and external managers. Support portfolio reporting and analytics to facilitate informed investment decisions, and prepare clear performance commentary for key stakeholders.

  • Prepare and review governance materials, Investment Committee (IC) papers, and regular reports for IC meetings, material for risk forums, and regulatory submissions. Support investment compliance by ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, investment guidelines, and industry standards, including incident reporting.

  • Conduct the annual management fee review and provide investment data to internal teams as required. Perform ongoing portfolio risk monitoring and contribute to developing new tools that automate processes. Maintain and update the investment procedure manual.

  • Support due diligence, evaluation, and selection of new fund managers. Manage the governance and approval workflow for IC processes, and lead onboarding activities for new managers, including the development of investment transition plans.

  • Support investment‑related projects assigned by the line manager and handle ad hoc investment management tasks. Liaise with local, Group, and external stakeholders across projects, providing timely and professional responses to their inquiries.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance or related discipline

  • 5 years of investment management experience in Financial Services, with insurance‑related experience preferred

  • Quantitative financial background, such as CFA, FRM or equivalent qualifications is a plus

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, open‑minded, and quick to learn

  • Team player with strong stakeholder management skills

  • Good communication, problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Asset owner experience preferred

  • Investment compliance and risk management experience is a plus
