The Opportunity
Verve is seeking an Assistant to support agents and partners in our Motion Picture Literary team. You'll be working directly on some of the most active film desks in the business: fielding high-volume calls, managing client materials, and sitting at the center of deal-making and creative development in feature space.

What You'll Do
- Roll a high volume of calls and manage a fast-moving inbox for senior agents and partners
- Interface with A-list clients, producers, studio executives, and managers with professionalism and discretion
- Send, track, and manage client script submissions and materials across studios and production companies
- Provide script coverage and maintain a strong pulse on the feature film market›Coordinate meetings, arrange travel, and prepare expense reports
- Collaborate effectively across all levels of the agency and take initiative on special projects
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of full-time assistant experience at a talent agency or management company - motion picture experience a strong plus
- Comfortable managing high call volume and thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Polished written and verbal communication - client and executive interaction is a daily part of this role
- Absolute discretion with confidential client and deal information
- Outstanding time management, multi-tasking, and follow-through under pressure
- Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions quickly and independently
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- A genuine passion for film - you read scripts, follow the spec market, and know who's who and who's buying what
