About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking to hire a new Lieutenant for the Minnesota FPS Contract. The Hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, with Friday's hours being flexible pending staffing and other Management needs.

 

PAY TRANSPARENCEY/COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate or Salary Range $32.65

Health and Welfare $4.47

 

Responsibilities

  • Inspections of posts and PSOs throughout the month.  Could involve traveling to outstate posts in a Company provided vehicle
  • Delivery of uniform orders, post supplies and company documents
  • Manage post books (memos, duty book, company folder)
  • Collect end of the month paperwork from all posts
  • Teach SMART Book training if necessary
  • Fill open shifts during on call weekends
  • Issue disciplinary actions as needed
  • Assist with new hire training as needed
  • Scheduling 
  • Filling call-offs, and filling shifts as needed
  • Order and maintain uniform inventory
  • Position requires sitting for long periods of time. Continuous computer use.
  • Duties require using hands and wrist for typing and computer usage for long periods of time, lifting more than 10 pounds, bending twisting, and standing. Some activities that involve standing for long periods of time.
  • Requires conducting regular site visits.
  • Position is primarily in office setting. Occasional travel is required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the captain and/or the Contract Manager

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two (2) years armed experience
  • Possess a Top-Secret security clearance
  • Full NWDTP Certification
  • Firearms training and firearms qualifications, and company certifications meet state/federal certifications
  • Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English
  • Familiarity with securing facilities and/or vehicles at a fixed location
  • Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post
  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in field supervision (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement or commercial/industrial security force service)
