We’re looking for the right person to join our growing Disputes & Economics practise, which focuses on assisting clients with financial, accounting and economic issues in litigation and other disputes.
We provide expert evidence services, consulting advice and advocacy services to solicitors, barristers and corporate clients, alongside a team of world-recognised experts within an established leading global consultancy.
Our Australian D&E practice launched in 2023 is led by some of the most experienced practitioners in the market
This role is based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.

Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of forensic accounting engagements primarily involving damages assessments, valuations and technical accounting.
Preparing and reviewing detailed financial models in Microsoft Excel, including analysing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts in order to prepare a DCF analysis.
Writing reports and other deliverables for review by and Senior Managing Directors.
Proactively managing client expectations and job administration.
Actively pursuing business development opportunities.
Developing an external network of clients and business contacts.
Requirements:
Be either an experienced chartered accountant (CA or CPA or foreign equivalent) or CFA charter holder with first time passes.
Graduate level qualification obtained from a leading university.
Having broad forensic accountancy experience, including disputes, within a recognised global practice.
Experience of project managing client engagements and individuals.
Very strong analytical and financial modelling skills with a flexible approach to problem solving.
Demonstrate strong report writing and oral communication skills.
Experience across a number of industries.
Be willing to market to new and existing clients.
