About the Role

Position Summary:

The Online Clinical Site Coordinator & Instructor for the Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) Program is responsible for coordinating and overseeing clinical education experiences for online students while also providing didactic instruction. This role includes actively developing new clinical partnerships, maintaining existing affiliations, and ensuring students meet program competencies. The position requires regular communication with clinical sites and includes travel to establish and evaluate clinical locations. The coordinator supports program compliance, student success, and high-quality clinical training in a hybrid/online learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Coordination & Site Development

  • Identify, recruit, and develop new clinical site partnerships to support program growth. 
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clinical affiliates. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between P.I.T. and clinical sites across designated regions. 
  • Coordinate student clinical placements and schedules in alignment with program requirements. 
  • Ensure all clinical sites meet accreditation and program standards. 
  • Monitor student progress and performance during clinical rotations. 
  • Conduct site visits (virtual and in-person) to evaluate, support, and maintain clinical site quality. 
  • Travel to clinical sites as needed for onboarding, evaluation, and relationship management. 
  • Maintain documentation of clinical agreements, student competencies, and site evaluations. 

Instruction & Teaching

  • Deliver online didactic instruction in Neurodiagnostic Technology courses. 
  • Develop and update course materials to align with current industry standards and accreditation requirements. 
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments. 
  • Provide timely feedback and academic support to students. 
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) effectively for course delivery. 

Student Support & Advising

  • Mentor and advise students regarding academic and clinical performance. 
  • Assist students in meeting clinical requirements, competencies, and credentialing readiness. 
  • Address and resolve student concerns related to clinical placements. 

Program Development & Compliance

  • Assist in maintaining program compliance with accrediting bodies (e.g., CAAHEP). 
  • Participate in program assessment, outcomes tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with Program Director and faculty on curriculum development and updates. 
  • Support preparation for accreditation reviews and reports. 

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of student clinical hours, competencies, and evaluations. 
  • Communicate regularly with faculty, students, and clinical partners. 
  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in institutional initiatives as required. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Credentialed Neurodiagnostic Technologist (e.g., R. EEG T.,). 
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in neurodiagnostic technology. 
  • Experience in clinical education or student supervision. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel to clinical sites. 
  • Proficiency with online learning platforms and technology. 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. 
  • Prior teaching experience in a postsecondary or clinical training program. 
  • Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., CAAHEP). 
  • Familiarity with competency-based education models. 

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid – In person and online. 
  • Travel required for clinical site development, onboarding, and evaluation. 
  • Flexible schedule with some evening availability for student and clinical site support.
