We are looking for an interim support within the Inbound Logistics Coordinator position with the possibility for this to go permanent after a trial period in Poeldijk, Netherlands.

The Inbound Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of incoming goods from suppliers to warehouses or distribution centres. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate documentation, and efficient communication between suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.

The coordinator plays a key role in maintaining supply chain efficiency by tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Shipment Coordination: Plan and monitor inbound shipments from suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Supplier & Carrier Communication: Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport providers regarding shipment status and updates.
  • Tracking & Visibility: Track shipments from origin to destination and proactively address delays or disruptions communicating on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure all required documents (e.g., packing lists, bills of lading, invoices, customs documents) are accurate and processed correctly.
  • Inventory Alignment: Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and accurate recording of incoming goods.
  • ERP System Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment and inventory data within the ERP or logistics systems.
  • Customs & Compliance: Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies, delays, or damages in inbound shipments.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on inbound performance, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability.
  • Invoice management: Verify supplier and freight invoices against purchase orders and goods received (3-way matching)
    • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role (preferred).
    • Knowledge of transportation processes, import/export procedures, and documentation.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
