Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President, Client Success Management, the Account Manager is responsible for driving results and owning operational execution for assigned clients. This role serves as a key liaison across internal teams, ensuring client requests are managed efficiently, accurately, and on time while delivering a high‑quality client and member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and track all client service tasks, deliverables, client presentations, and responses to ensure deadlines and service expectations are met
- Maintain organized documentation, calendars, and workflows to support collaboration across departments
- Track, run, and quality‑assure client reporting requests, ensuring accuracy and on‑time delivery
- Respond to client and member inquiries, providing timely and professional support
- Manage administrative processes, including tracking progress and following up on outstanding or required documentation
- Research, track, and conduct outreach related to miscellaneous client and member needs
- Edit, prepare, and maintain departmental documents, policies, and workflows
- Coordinate with the Finance department on client‑related items
- Review and approve invoices for all PBF clients in accordance with established processes
- Support client and internal email notifications as requested
- Create, review, and quality‑check reports and documentation for the department
- Assist with daily operational tasks, department initiatives, and cross‑functional projects
- Support special projects as assigned by Client Success Executives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- PBM and operational experience strongly preferred
- Prior customer service and/or phone‑based support experience preferred
- Required: Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or managed care industry
- Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow‑through skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
