About the Role

Description

We’re looking for an energetic, skilled, and guest-focused Bartender to join our team and elevate the bar experience for both travelers and locals.


As a Bartender, you’ll craft inventive and classic beverages, create powerful moments for guests, and be a key part of the social heartbeat of the Haus. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love the mountains, and value hospitality that feels personal—not transactional—this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Experience & Service
  • Provide outstanding, personalized bar service to guests and members with efficiency and enthusiasm.
  • Engage guests in conversation and make thoughtful product recommendations based on preferences.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, consistency, and presentation aligned with Gravity Haus standards.
  • Ensure guests feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of from first pour to last sip.
  • Educate guests and members on special offerings, tastings, Haus events, or membership benefits.
  • Bar Operations
  • Set up, break down, and maintain a clean and organized bar environment at all times.
  • Follow recipes and portion standards consistently while also contributing creative ideas.
  • Manage cash/credit transactions and reconcile daily sales accurately.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs, shortages, or waste concerns.
  • Follow and enforce all safety, TIPS certification, and alcohol service procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of glassware, tools, bar tops, and all beverage equipment.
  • Support service staff and jump in where needed to help the team succeed.
  • Team & Culture
  • Collaborate with the F&B team to execute smooth service during peak periods.
  • Assist in training new bar staff as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, menu updates, and seasonal programming.
  • Be a Gravity Haus Ambassador—representing our mission, values, and lifestyle.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of bartending experience (craft or scratch bar experience preferred).
  • Strong product knowledge across spirits, cocktails, beer, wine, and seasonal beverage trends.
  • A polished, friendly, and engaging presence behind the bar.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both front and back of house teams.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to service and operations.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, outdoor adventure, and the Gravity Haus lifestyle.
  • Must be 21+ and able to obtain/maintain required alcohol service certifications.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move quickly during service.
