Job Hours (Shift): 12-hour shifts (Day or Night) on a 2-3-2 rotation schedule


Position Summary: The Forklift Operator – Stand-Up role is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to transport materials from the loading dock to designated warehouse locations. This position supports warehouse and production operations by ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient material handling while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate stand-up forklift equipment with reverse steering safely and efficiently
  • Transport materials from loading docks to designated warehouse or storage locations
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, platforms, and storage areas
  • Position lifting devices under, over, or around pallets, skids, or containers to move products safely
  • Inspect products for damage and verify accuracy using scanning systems or manual processes
  • Perform daily inspection and documentation of forklift equipment
  • Follow standard work procedures, safety rules, and operational guidelines at all times
  • Support material flow between receiving, processing, and storage areas
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift with reverse steering required
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-3-2 schedule (day or night)
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for the entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally for restacking or material handling tasks
  • Must successfully complete forklift training and company certification requirements]
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and materials
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial conditions
  • Required use of Personal Protective Equipment at all times on the shop floor
  • Interaction with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and operations leadership to support daily workflow
