South West Plumbing, Heating, Air, Electric has served the Greater Seattle area for over 45 years.
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Install Manager to lead and support our Sewer Division. This role is responsible for ensuring all installation projects are completed on time, meet our high standards of quality, and are executed safely and efficiently.
This is a hybrid (office/field) role with a strong field presence- approximately 70% of your time will be spent in the field conducting quality checks, supporting installation teams, and engaging directly with customers.
You will report directly to the Head of Underground (Drains & Sewer Division) and play a key role in maintaining our reputation as the most skilled and well-trained sewer installation team in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage day-to-day operations of the sewer installation team
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable installation crews and install coordinators.
- Ensure all jobs are completed on time, within scope, and meet company quality standards
- Conduct regular field audits and site visits to ensure workmanship, safety, and efficiency
- Establish and track KPIs (productivity, callbacks, revenue per job..)
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process enhancements
- Partner with the Underground Service and the coordinators to ensure seamless job execution
- Oversee scheduling, job allocation, and workforce planning to maximize productivity
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and PPE requirements
- Lead weekly performance, accountability, and coaching meetings
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of installation team members
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure proper job documentation, permitting, and payment collection processes are followed
- Manage job costing awareness to support profitability and margin targets

- Competitive Pay & Bonuses: Total compensation $105,000 - $110,000

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven background in construction management or field supervision tracking day-to-day operation
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Trenching operations, Sewer, drain, or water pipe installation, Rough-in, construction or reconstruction work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage job timelines and ensure on-time completion
- Strong understanding of installation quality standards and inspection practices
- Experience working in residential service or construction environments preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (team and customer-facing)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously

Work Environment
- Hybrid role: Approximately 70% field / 30% office
- Daily travel to job sites required
- Active, hands-on role requiring regular site inspections and team interaction
