About the Role

Description

Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Contract Specialist Journeyman Contracting Professional to execute cradle-to-grave acquisition support and provide strategic contracting expertise. This role requires a strong foundation in federal acquisition and experience operating under a contracting officer warrant.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute full lifecycle (“cradle-to-grave”) contracting actions
  • Develop acquisition strategies and milestone plans
  • Prepare and review solicitation packages and contract documentation
  • Support cost-type and fixed-price contract actions
  • Ensure compliance with FAR Parts 6, 10, 11, 16, 31, 33, and 37
  • Provide acquisition planning support and risk analysis
  • Interface with stakeholders and customers to support mission needs


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline
  • 5+ years of federal contracting experience
  • Experience with a limited contracting officer warrant (= $1M)
  • Strong acquisition planning and execution experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • DAWIA Level II Certification (or Back-to-Basics equivalent)
  • Experience with WAWF, SharePoint, and federal contract systems

Must possess all basic level contracting support skills and be proficient in:

  • Acquisition planning
  • Milestone Development
  • Cradle to grave contracting
  • FAR 6, 10, 11, 16, 31, 33, 37
  • Polished writing skills
  • Cost contracts
