Inventory Control Specialist

Shift: 1st shift Monday through Friday

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Work Authorization:

Wage Range: $25/hr to $28/hr (based on experience)

  

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels within our manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, working position, not a desk job. You will spend time on the production floor and in the warehouse actively managing inventory and supporting operations. 

This role is critical to ensuring consistency, organization, and efficiency across all inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with email communication, and the ability to follow and enforce structured processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through routine cycle counts
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner 
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock organization 
  • Receive, track, and record incoming materials and outgoing shipments 
  • Ensure inventory processes are followed consistently across departments 
  • Communicate effectively with departments via email and in person 
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory control 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inventory control or related experience preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage processes and maintain consistency 
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, counting, and reconciliation) 
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to follow established procedures 

  

Additional Information

  • Candidates will be required to complete a basic math and computer skills assessment 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
