Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking a Contracting Specialist to support Air Combat Command’s Acquisition Management Integration Center (AMIC). This role supports federal acquisition activities across a range of commodity and service procurements in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support simplified acquisition of commercial items
- Assist with contract closeout activities
- Prepare brand name justifications and acquisition documentation
- Execute entry-level contracting tasks across a variety of requirements
- Support fixed-price contracts and related variations
- Ensure compliance with applicable FAR regulations (Parts 5, 6, 12, 13, 15)
- Maintain accurate documentation within government systems
Clearance: Active Secret (TS/SCI preferred or ability to obtain)
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field
- 3+ years of federal contracting experience
- Experience as a Contract Specialist within a federal environment
Must be proficient in:
- Simplified acquisition of commercial items
- Contract closeout
- Brand name justifications
- Entry level contracting skills
- Wide range of commodity and service requirements
- Fixed price contracts and fixed price variations.
- Time management
- FAR 5, 6, 19, 12, 13, 15
