Job Description
1.Role 1.1 Work with VSO, VSE & Supervisors to maintain, analysis, improve and resolve
production line issues in a responsible manner towards ensure manufacturing meeting Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery with guidance from Technician 3.
1.2 Responsible for 1st level failure analysis of reject tools or components from production
line to identify process or supplier related issue for failures which are unable to be solve
by shopfloor leaders.
1.3 Support VSE to perform Machine and Process Capability Study to ensure machines and processes meet the capability requirement during new product introduction and mass production with guidance from Senior Technician.
2.Job Scope
2.1 To perform Process Study on Failure Analysis for existing responsible products on all reject & assist time study, cycle time on the process or ISIR sample build / test in production.
2.2 To assist Manufacturing Changeover activities and perform Evaluation / Rejects activities.
2.3 To assist on technical report Cgk, Cmk, GRR, SPC & etc assigned by Process Engineer/Supervisor.
2.4 To assist Manufacturing Engineering document: Visual aids PQI, work instructions WI, 7S photo, Inspector Work Sequence, Quality Alert & Quality awareness presentation material for briefing purpose.
2.5 To perform daily complaint of raw material to PUQ and assist in scrap preparation if necessary.
2.6 To train and monitor repairers on daily rework activities.
2.7 To support Production in achieving the effectiveness/productivity, output, FOR and quality target.
2.8 To support and involve in BPS activities such as Point CIP projects, LLD, Change Over, TPM or process/product improvement.
2.9 To participate in all scraping audits, coordinate in providing and implementing corrective actions.
2.10 To prepare & submit the scrap form which need submitted daily scrap for management
approval.
2.12 Support VSE/FPV in Machine and Process Capability Studies to ensure new machine and
process meet the capability requirement during new product introduction and mass
production.
2.13 Support VSE/FPV in coordination of PDP project sample build (Pre-Pilot and Pilot run) on
material availability and jig and fixtures readiness.
2.14To assist the Process Engineer / Supervisor in the day-to-day operation.
2.15To support an acting as supervisor if Supervisor & LO no turn up.
2.16To carry out any other duties assigned by immediate superior time to time.
Qualifications
3.Core Competencies

3.2 Able to communicate orally and written in English and Bahasa Malaysian.

3.4 Credible, reliability and trustworthy.
3.5 Sense of urgency. 3.6 Basic knowledge of BPS Principles and Value Stream Q-Basics.
3.7 Good in technical report writing and include complete data analysis and action recommendation.
3.8 Experience in manufacturing activities and documentation (eg: Work Instruction, Control
Plan, Process FMEA, Machine and Process Capability Studies, Statistical Process Control –
SPC, Time Study (VT), Line Balancing, Setup Plan).
3.9Able to understand and interpret technical drawing.
3.10Hands on experience on failure analysis and problem-solving methodology. 4.Formal Education
4.1 Minimum Diploma in Engineering Field or Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Level 4 or any equivalent.
5.Knowledge and Exposure
5.1 Experience working in manufacturing will be an advantage.
6.Knowledge, Skills and Ability
6.1 Able to understand, read and communicate in Malay and English.
6.2 Able to work under minimum supervision.
6.4 Able to use Microsoft Office.
6.5 Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
6.6 Effective communication with value stream management and value stream engineer.
6.7 Knowledge of ISO, TS, IEC/EN Standard, Product safety requirement e.g.UL, CSA is an
added advantage.
6.8 Knowledge of 7QC tools and Geometric, Dimension and Tolerancing (G, D&T) is an
added advantage.
6.9 Familiar with statistical process control methods, measurement system analysis and
cycle time study is an added advantage.
