Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to lead our reporting development initiatives. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in Microsoft-based reporting technologies and the ability to guide a team in delivering high-quality, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI
Work closely with product teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Optimize SQL queries and database performance for reporting efficiency
Lead and mentor a team of developers in report development and best practices
Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product management
Manage tasks, sprints, and deliverables using Jira
Maintain proper version control practices using Git and TFS
Stay updated with the latest Microsoft technologies and reporting tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Hands-on experience with SSRS and Power BI (report design, dashboards, data modeling)
Solid experience in ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC
Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
Experience with version control systems such as Git and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Experience working in product-based software environments
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of modern UI/UX practices in reporting solutions
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
