JOB TITLE: Diesel Mechanic/Equipment Foreman
ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Construction Management
SUPERVISOR: Assistant Director
FLSA: Exempt – DOE
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY: Experience in all phases of Diesel/Gasoline Engine and Heavy Equipment Repair.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Advanced knowledge of all types of Diesel/Gasoline Engines.
· Advanced knowledge of Heavy Equipment and perform independently of others.
· Advanced knowledge of equipment maintenance.
· Foreman of the repair of engines and related equipment.
· Ability to fabricate and weld steel.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
· Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in engine repair.
· Supervisory experience.
· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
· Ability to repair multiple pieces of heavy equipment.
