The Transfer Driver is responsible for safely transporting products between warehouse locations using various equipment including trucks and forklifts. They must also perform vehicle inspections, maintain property, and provide excellent customer service during delivery operations.

Description
The Transfer Driver will transport product between our Western Montana warehouse locations.
Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm or 12am could be 5-8’s or 4-10s based on needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and complete pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed.
- Safely and efficiently delivers products to Western Montana warehouses using truck, forklift, pallet jack, ride on jack and/or hand truck.
- Collects or picks up empty containers.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety programs.
- Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
- Implements ways for the warehouse and company to improve efficiency, quality, and service.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Job Requirements:
- CDL A required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean driving record.
- Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Beverage delivery experience preferred
- Good customer service skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
Physical Demands:

- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift and/or move up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).
- Must be able to safely operate a ride on pallet jack (of various fork lengths) as well as a forklift and hand cart to transport products in a safe manner.
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, occasionally high due to outside related environmental noises.
- Will work in inclement temperatures, weather & road conditions
Company Duties:
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local regulations regarding the merchandising of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a valid Montana Commercial driver’s license and keep a good driving record; and
- Does not abuse equipment and maintain company property such as Company vehicles.

- Class A CDL is required.
- Ability to lift/carry/move 50 lbs. (maximum of 170 lbs.).
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative; Ability to handle wide range of tasks.
