About the Role
The GMP Visual Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring product quality by performing detailed visual inspections of pharmaceutical products in accordance with approved procedures and GMP requirements.
This role is well-suited for someone who has 20/20 vision either on your own or with glasses/lenses, is observant, patient, dependable, and comfortable working in structured environments where accuracy matters more than speed. Success in this position comes from consistency, focus, and a willingness to raise questions when something doesn’t look right.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of drug products according to approved SOPs and GMP standards
- Identify and segregate acceptable and non-conforming units
- Document inspection results clearly, completely, and in real time
- Follow gowning, hygiene, and cleanroom requirements
- Maintain focus during repetitive tasks while meeting quality expectations
- Escalate issues, defects, or concerns promptly
- Support investigation activities and quality reviews
- Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, QA, and other support teams
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and visual acuity
- Comfort performing repetitive, detail-oriented work
- Willingness to work within GMP and controlled environments
- Clear communication and dependable attendance
Preferred
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, inspection, or regulated production environments
- Familiarity with GMP expectations
- Experience working in cleanrooms or controlled areas
