Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and evaluating oral health conditions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety guidelines
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charting
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization standards
- Support a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and professional care
Qualifications & Requirements
- A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- At least one (1) year experience.
