Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
  • Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and evaluating oral health conditions
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
  • Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charting
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization standards
  • Support a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and professional care

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • At least one (1) year experience.
