Job Description:

Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

1.  Leads and executes assigned mechanical equipment Projects and troubleshooting of production lines. Provides technical and project management leadership to assure safe, timely and economical execution of mechanical improvement projects, keep production/equipment smooth running.

2.  Provides technical responsibility and leads mechanical solution identification, selection and/or development for equipment failures and performance optimization

3.  Performs designs for mechanical systems (such as mechanical drawings, 2D/3D modeling, assembly drawings and part details)

4.  Performs mechanical analysis and calculations (such as stress analysis, tolerance analysis, material selection and mechanical validation)

5.  Reviews, approves and releases engineering documentation, drawings and material requisitions to assure conformance to standards, specifications, budget and schedule

6.  Supervises and monitors works such as mechanical equipment assembly, integration, installation and commissioning etc. and products provided by contractors/suppliers in assuring meeting of safety, quality and schedule objectives of project

7.  Manages project spending in assuring completing mechanical project within authorized amount

8.  Keep Technical updating to team, technologies include: mechanical transmission systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, rotating machinery, mechanical precision measurement, material properties, lubrication systems, industrial machinery safety standards and mechanical maintenance best practices etc

9.  Other jobs assigned by supervisor

Knowledge and Skills required:

1.  Bachelor or above in major of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Design etc.

2.  Three years or more experience of mechanical engineering or equipment maintenance in manufacturing enterprise, with maintenance department background preferred

3.  Mastering of forefront mechanical design and equipment maintenance technology information

4.  Qualified communication, coordination and promotion skill as well as planning, scheduling & executing ability

5.  Be good, honest, fair & impartial, loyal, accurate and respectful

6.  Moderate documentation written ability, familiar with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/UG/Pro-E and other mechanical design related software, familiar with MS Office

7.  Moderate reading, oral and written ability in English
