Position Summary The Clinical Lead supports daily clinic operations while providing hands-on patient care. This role serves as the primary resource for clinical staff, ensuring efficient workflows, strong team performance, and high-quality, compliant patient care.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical staff
- Lead daily huddles and manage patient flow and priorities
- Provide coaching, feedback, and staff training
- Assign tasks and oversee clinical workflows
- Coordinate staffing needs with the Regional Clinical Manager
- Escalate operational or personnel concerns as needed
- Cross-cover clinical roles as necessary
Clinical & Compliance
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and clinical support tasks
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic lab functions, including phlebotomy
- Provide wound care and other in-clinic treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Triage patient calls and messages
- Ensure OSHA compliance and manage clinical supplies
Patient Experience
- Deliver professional, patient-centered care
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Support a collaborative, positive clinic environment
Requirements
Qualifications
- Current CMA certification from a recognized accrediting organization or current RN/LPN license in good standing.
- Prior experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
