We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Electronic Services Representative at our Home Office in Auburn Hills, MI.

Position Purpose:  

Responsible for waiting on members, both internal and external, by phone, in person and by email. Responsible for processing, posting, and balancing card accounts. Researches and resolves card processing disputes, processes charge backs, and adjusts members' accounts. Completes related reports and records and maintains files. Professionally assists members and vendors and notifies them as needed. Performs related clerical duties as required.  

Job Duties (include but not limited to):  

  • Maintains a working knowledge of VISA, Debit MasterCard, ATM, Online Banking, Mobile Baking, and Remote Deposit to assist with members, and member and branch phone calls  
  • Researches and resolves card processing disputes. Completes charge-backs or retrieval requests as needed  
  • Reads and comprehends all rules, regulations, and updates that come in from VISA, MasterCard, CO-OP Network, and other industry sources  
  • Cross sell Credit Union products and services using needs based selling practices  
  • Blocks or unblocks Visa Cards, Debit MasterCard’s, or ATM cards as necessary according to policy   

Qualifications:   

  • High school graduate or equivalent  
  • One to two years of related experience required   

Skills/Abilities:   

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred  
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills  
  • Solid math skills.  
  • Able to analyze accounts  
  • Attentive to detail  
  • Well organized  
  • Ability to assist others  
  • Ability to read and understand manuals, periodicals, policy manuals, vendor correspondence, etc  
  • Able to use PC, calculator, phone, and all related business equipment
