Boater’s World Marine Centers is actively expanding our team at our Lake Placid, FL location as we enter peak boating season.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Boat Delivery Driver to support increased demand and ensure timely, safe transport of boats between dealership locations, and customer destinations.

This is a hands-on, field-based role that plays a direct part in the customer experience and is critical to keeping operations running smoothly during our busiest time of year.

Key Responsibilities

Boat Transportation & Delivery

• Safely tow and transport boats, trailers, and equipment to and from dealership locations and customer sites 
• Ensure all units are properly secured, protected, and compliant for road travel 
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to confirm safe transport conditions 

Customer Interaction

• Provide professional and friendly service during deliveries 
• Assist with basic handoff questions and ensure a smooth delivery experience 
• Represent Boater’s World in a positive and professional manner at all times 

Loading, Unloading & Handling

• Assist with launching, loading, unloading, and positioning boats safely 
• Work with team members to ensure proper handling procedures are followed 
• Ensure all deliveries are completed without damage to the unit or property 

Route Planning & Coordination

• Plan efficient delivery routes to meet scheduling expectations 
• Communicate proactively with management regarding delays, issues, or schedule changes 

Equipment & Vehicle Responsibility

• Operate company trucks and trailers safely and responsibly 
• Monitor condition of vehicles and trailers, reporting any maintenance concerns 
• Ensure all required documentation and logs are completed accurately 

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Service, and Parts departments to coordinate deliveries 
• Support overall dealership operations as needed to ensure efficiency 

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required) 
• Experience towing trailers and transporting boats or large equipment (highly preferred) 
• Ability to safely back up and maneuver trailers in tight or marina environments 
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions 
• Ability to lift, move, and handle marine equipment as needed 
• Strong communication and customer service skills 
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented 
• Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
