Position Overview
The HR Generalist provides critical support to Fortem’s HR Manager, providing coordination and ownership of day-to-day people operations, programs, and tasks associated with the full employee lifecycle. This role will own benefits and people ops systems administration, compliance (related to people ops), and a variety of people programs and events. This position is on-site M-F.


Key Responsibilities

· Recruitment and new hire coordination. 

· Compliance: state, federal, and internal standards related to people and the workplace.

· Records management: electronic and physical personnel and people related files, documents, and artifacts.

· Benefits and insurance program administration.

· Employee relations support.

· Policy and standard operating procedures updates, creation, and erasure.

· Employee events; creation, logistics, support and coordination. 

· Special projects as assigned by HR leadership.

Requirements

· 3–5+ years of HR experience or a combination of education and experience.

· Demonstrated knowledge of key federal employment laws and experience with state laws outside of Utah.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Highly proficient in MS O365 apps and tools; Excel, Outlook, etc.
