Join the team at 1878 On the Lake at Lake Lawn Resort as a Server and deliver an elevated dining experience in a beautiful lakeside setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in providing exceptional guest service.

What You’ll Do

Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service to guests
Greet guests, present menus, and communicate daily specials
Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system
Serve food and beverages, ensuring quality and accuracy
Monitor guest experience and respond promptly to requests
Set and reset tables according to restaurant standards
Perform side work and maintain clean, organized service stations
Stock supplies including condiments, tableware, and beverages
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the dining area
Support team members to ensure smooth service

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Previous server or restaurant experience preferred
Strong guest service and communication skills
Experience with POS systems preferred
Knowledge of wine and food pairings is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent lifting and carrying of trays (up to 25 lbs, occasionally more)
Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift

Work Environment

Indoor and outdoor restaurant setting
Moderate to loud noise levels during peak service
High-volume, guest-focused environment
