Riverpoint Medical in Northeast Portland is hiring a Senior Project Manager. At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets. Role Summary
The Senior Project Manager owns delivery of high-complexity New Product Introduction (NPI) and Operational Excellence (OPEX) projects. This role applies advanced judgment to balance scope, schedule, cost, and risk within projects while operating within established portfolio priorities. The Senior Project Manager operates in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is expected to create clarity, maintain momentum, and adapt execution plans as conditions evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of high-complexity NPI and OPEX projects from scoping through launch.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Balance scope, schedule, cost, and risk tradeoffs within projects to protect delivery outcomes.
- Partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders, including progress, achievements, risks, and upcoming decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams through complex decision points and execution challenges.
- Provide clear, decision-ready communication to stakeholders on progress, risks, and required actions.
- Manage project changes through structured impact assessment and documented decisions.
- Support department process improvement initiatives and organizational compliance requirements.
- Support company initiatives and compliance activities in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- 5+ years of relevant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery tradeoffs across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve consensus and motivate others without authority.
- Experience working in New Product Development preferred.
- Experience with FDA 510(k) process or other regulatory submissions preferred.
