Barista/Cafe Attendant

Description

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Cafe Attendant / Barista to join our team and help create a welcoming, community-focused café experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service, and loves coffee (or is excited to learn).

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, and tea beverages 
• Take customer orders and process transactions accurately 
• Provide warm, welcoming, and efficient customer service 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café environment 
• Answer customer questions and make recommendations 
• Follow all health, safety, and food handling guidelines

Position pays $17.50 to $20.00 per hour based on experience

Requirements

 What You Bring

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
• Reliability and attention to detail 
• Previous café or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred 
• Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Experience with different espresso machines a plus
