Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an accomplished Director - Commercial to lead the commercial strategy and operations for our transport hub projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful commercial execution and growth of transport infrastructure within the Qiddiya development, which is a flagship project aimed at revolutionizing entertainment, sports, and cultural experiences in Saudi Arabia.
As the Director - Commercial, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial plans specific to transport hubs, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving revenue opportunities. You will collaborate closely with project teams, government entities, and private sector partners to optimize commercial performance and ensure alignment with Qiddiya’s broader strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in transport infrastructure commercial management, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Your innovative approach and strategic mindset will contribute significantly to the success and sustainability of Qiddiya’s transport hub initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute commercial strategies and business plans for transport hub projects within Qiddiya.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with partners, vendors, and service providers related to transport hubs.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize commercial opportunities.
- Oversee revenue generation strategies including leasing, concessions, and service agreements.
- Monitor market trends and assess risks to guide commercial decision-making for transport hubs.
- Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and performance metrics for commercial activities in transport hubs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in commercial management, preferably focused on transport, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial strategy development.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven track record of driving successful commercial outcomes in transport or infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Transport Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
