The role is crucial for ensuring compliance and accuracy in revenue recognition and technical accounting within a fast-growing global AI organization. Collaborating with various departments, the manager will oversee the revenue recognition process in adherence to ASC 606 and provide guidance on technical accounting positions. \n- Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring adherence under ASC 606.
- Partner with sales operations and general accounting to manage invoicing and deferred revenue recognition.
- Lead month-end close activities including revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations to assess contracts and revenue implications.
- Maintain audit readiness through robust technical accounting documentation and controls.
- Utilize systems like SAP S/4Hana and Salesforce to enhance revenue process automation.
- 8+ years of revenue accounting experience in an enterprise software environment.
- Proven experience with ASC 606, ASC 340, and US GAAP technical areas.
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or similar) required for at least 5 years.
- Technical accounting expertise is essential, with operational experience a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, G-Suite, Salesforce, and SAP S/4Hana.
