Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
This isn't a "keep things running" role. It's a "make things run better" role.
As our Partnerships Operations Specialist, you'll join a small, fast-moving team at the heart of Farmlands Card — supporting the people who manage some of New Zealand's most recognised businesses. You'll start by supporting the Partnership Portfolio Managers: owning the operational engine: keeping activity on track, managing workflows, coordinating signage and admin and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Then, progressively, you'll redesign it.
As you document processes, map SLAs and identify where manual effort is slowing the team down, your role evolves — from doing the work to improving it. You'll leverage AI tools, identify workflows for automation and streamline how we work using the tools we have to reduce friction and free up capacity across the team.
This is a role for someone who thinks ten steps ahead, builds their own backlog of improvement work and gets genuine satisfaction from closing the gap between how things are and how they should be.
Day to day you'll be:
Supporting Portfolio Manager administration.
Owning operational workflows across partner activity — from campaign admin and signage ordering to reporting and supplier coordination.
Monitoring and managing shared inboxes, ensuring partner and stakeholder communications are handled promptly and nothing is missed.
Documenting processes and mapping SLAs to identify where time and effort can be recovered.
Managing your own backlog of optimisation work, prioritising and progressing it alongside day-to-day support.
Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve response times and ways of working.
Supporting the team with reporting, communications and urgent problem-solving when it counts.
Maintaining accurate records across information management systems and CRM.
Mōhou ake | About you
Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience — this is essential.
Familiarity with workflow automation tools and/or a genuine interest in using AI to work smarter.
A natural process improver — you don't just complete tasks, you question whether they need to exist and make recommendations accordingly.
Highly organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage your own priorities and needs of the team with initiative.
Clear communicator who can work across a team, liaise with external partners and translate operational problems into practical solutions.
Experience in an operational, coordination, or partnerships support role.
Power BI experience would be a bonus.
