Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Director of Quality for a full-time leadership role in Ottumwa, Iowa.
POSITION OVERVIEW
• Directs quality and risk department activities and resources
• Responsible for achieving departmental and organizational objectives
• Oversees compliance, performance, and operational effectiveness
COMPENSATION
• Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000
SCHEDULE
• Full-time
• Day shift
ROLE
• Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards
• Direct and evaluate departmental operations including patient care delivery and quality control
• Monitor staffing, hiring, training, and performance management
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets
• Coordinate and direct internal and external audits
• Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards including HIPAA
• Manage quality improvement and complaint resolution processes

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) REQUIRED
• Ability to manage and direct staff and departmental operations REQUIRED
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance (including HIPAA) REQUIRED
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills REQUIRED
• Ability to manage budgets, audits, and departmental performance REQUIRED
