Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Business Controller for the PJSC “Konecranes Ukraine" regional company of the Konecranes corporation - one of the world leaders in the development, supply and maintenance of lifting equipment who will support decision‑making, ensure accurate financial reporting and act as a business partner for local management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, support monthly closings and ensure data quality for Group reporting.
  • Analyze financial results, costs, KPIs and variances; provide insights and improvement recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable data, monitor overdue balances and support IFRS requirements.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes together with Business Line Managers.
  • Prepare financial presentations and support management with clear, data‑driven analysis.
  • Coordinate contract and invoice approval flow; support documentation for investment projects.
  • Contribute to internal control activities and support risk management processes.

    Qualifications

    We also expect you to have:

    • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.
    • 3–5 years of experience in controlling, management accounting, audit or financial analysis.
    • Experience in an international company is an advantage.
    • Strong Excel and 1C skills; experience with BI tools and financial reporting systems.
    • Understanding of management accounting, P/L and B/S structure, AR management and ECL principles.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, responsibility and proactive mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ukrainian – fluent.
    • English: Intermediate+ / Upper‑Intermediate.
