Saz's State House is looking for a team member to fill an Expo role in our restaurant kitchen. What's great about the role? Every plate that leaves the kitchen goes through you. As the Expo, you’re the link between our kitchen and our servers, verifying accuracy, presentation, and portion sizes, and making sure every order gets to the right table at the right time.

Okay, but what does an Expo actually do?

  • Act as the final checkpoint for every dish — checking accuracy, plating, and portion sizes before it reaches a guest
  • Bridge the gap between the kitchen (BOH) and servers (FOH), keeping communication clear and service running on time
  • Organize and prioritize incoming tickets to maintain kitchen pace and keep wait times short
  • Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and ready to roll throughout service
  • Assist with packaging takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently

What else do you need to know?

  • Must be 16 years of age or older with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous expo experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person
  • A commitment to food safety and sanitation standards is a must
