Sheetmetal Journeyman will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, modification, and repair of the sheet metal ductwork and related HVAC components on commercial and industrial projects. This position requires technical skill, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install duct work systems in multi-family and commercial facilities.
  • Install, operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, combustion equipment and industrial air compressors.
  • Installing and fabricating duct work and cold boxes the use of hand and power tools and benders.
  • Inspects completed work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance wiht project specifications.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks that may be requested by the Company.

Requirements

  • Ductwork Takeoff experience ideal but not required
  • Knowledge of construction practices
  • Proficiency in pipefitting tools and techniques
