BARTENDER

We are looking for Bartenders that believe in treating our Guests with first-class service and incredible hospitality! SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
  • Ensure a good Guest experience--present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages; take orders; promptly serve food and drink, and check in with Guests regarding their experience; up-sell whenever possible
  • Record drink or food orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS; Accept and process Guest payment and make the correct change as applicable.
  • Fill in as a server as directed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant 
  • Maintain inventory and bar supplies; assist in restocking and replenishing
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar area (counters, tables, equipment, floors, etc.) always
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. Wash and sterilize glassware as needed

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred
  • Candidates with Lead Bartender and Shift Leader experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

PHYSICAL

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
