UGL Utilities Operations & Maintenance is seeking an experienced Project Lead – Distribution (Glove & Barrier) to lead multiple field crews delivering overhead distribution works across the AusNet network. This is a hands‑on field leadership role, accountable for the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of works, leading Glove & Barrier Lineworker crews across a structured 10&4 roster while maintaining strong relationships with AusNet and internal stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
Lead and coordinate multiple Glove & Barrier Lineworker crews delivering overhead distribution works
Provide strong on‑site leadership across a 10 & 4 roster
Champion UGL’s One HSE Culture with visible, consistent safety leadership
Review and approve work packs, SWMS, job plans and network documentation
Liaise with AusNet representatives, control room and planning teams

About You
Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead
Current Victorian Electrical Licence
Demonstrated experience leading crews on distribution networks
Strong knowledge of Glove & Barrier work practices, switching and access permits
Calm, organised and safety‑focused leader with strong communication skills
Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening test will be conducted.
